Believe it or not, lifting weights does not make you big; unless of course, you’re training like a body builder. That is, eating huge amounts of food and protein everyday and lifting weights every single day in circuit form. In reality, it’s all the protein you’re eating that makes you bulky. To really build your muscle you have to tear down the muscle fibers and the muscles are really small and take a long time to build. So don’t be frightened to work your muscles because they are what is going to stay with you as you age and will keep your body looking great.
